At the end of Day 2 Garrett and Alexandra found a wonderfully secluded beaver bog to camp in. Here, their tent is set up and their gear is ready to be loaded in.

Like magic it all fits in! What does it look like inside. . ..

What does YOUR kitchen look like? Here is the Conover's stove. They've set out their wood shavings and kindling to make it easy to start the fire in the morning.

A typical evening in the tent. Alexandra works on her journal. Yes, she's in her long-johns because its at least 70 degrees inside the tent!

A rest-stop on the lake. Its important to rest whenever you need a break so you don't become exhausted.
Here is a picture of some mountains taken from the Toe of the Boot on Moosehead. Do you know where that is? Do you know the names of the mountains?
Here's one the the graves at Carry Brook. Here's one explanation of who might be buried here:

I did some research and found a retired Great Northern Employee who told me that the graves on Carry Brook are those of four river runners. Over the years a few different groups have maintained the site and at one time Great Northern attempted to identify the men buried there but were not successful. So, a bit of mystery still prevails and adds to the colorful history of the area.

Garrett takes a break for a moment when the wind dies down a little.
